My blog has moved
If you want to receive regular updates, new content and updates check out the website.
As an academic, I understand the challenges we face in conducting literature reviews. The sheer volume of papers, the struggle to find the most relevant ones, and the daunting task of synthesizing all this information into a coherent whole can be overwhelming.
That's why I'm excited to invite you to a webinar I'm hosting: The Effortless Literature Review 2.0. This is not just another webinar. It's a chance to revolutionize your research process.
The webinar is happening this Saturday, July 29th (check time in your country) and this is the final call to join the 2.5hr workshop. If you can’t attend in person, there will be an annotated recording a few days after the webinar.
What you will learn in this webinar
We will focus on these 3 central problems academics face:
Finding Relevant Literature: This webinar will introduce you to AI tools that can help you navigate through the ocean of literature, finding the most relevant papers for your research.
Organizing Your Research: Keeping track of all your papers, notes, and ideas can be a nightmare. I will show you how to use modern tools to organize your research effectively, saving you time and reducing stress.
Synthesizing Information: The ultimate goal of a literature review is to synthesize information from various sources. I will share strategies and tools that can help you make sense of the literature, identify gaps in the research and formulate a compelling narrative.
If you follow my account on Twitter you have seen dozens of tutorials on tools to help in the process. However, only very few are worth your time and we will focus on those in-depth. Most importantly, you will learn how these tools can work together.
Registration
Fee: The regular registration fee is $30 for the rigorous 2.5hr online webinar.
Recording: A few days after the webinar I will send you an annotated recording with slides, answers to questions from the audience, pages of additional resources and discount codes for the tools we use.
Discounts: Participants from lower income countries are eligible for a discount. Please reply to this email and describe your situation.
Don’t take my word for it…
I am fortunate enough to have the support of numerous students and seasoned academics. You can find their reviews here.
Visited my previous webinars?
If you have visited the first Literature Review Webinar in March, this webinar will still be relevant to you. After spending 100s of hours doing my own research, the workflow changed a lot and new AI tools have become available. The webinar website has more information on what changed.
If you have completed the Note Taking Course the upcoming webinar will perfectly complement what you have learned there. If you sign up for the webinar, you will receive a 30% discount on this course mailed with your ticket.
